WHO WE ARE

'Youth Voices for Change' is an initiative of the 'Down To Zero' Alliance that seeks to prevent Sexual Exploitation of children and adolescents, amplifying the voices of young leaders for change, in Latin America and Asia.

OUR GOAL

Position young leaders as central agents of change, through the creation of transmedia content for the prevention of sexual exploitation of children and adolescents.

WHAT WE WANT TO ACHIEVE

  • Position young leaders as central agents for the prevention of SEC.
  • Strengthen the advocacy capacities of young people in the digital world.
  • Promote a platform of transmedia content that promotes young people's reflection on ESNNA.
  • Create reference content for the prevention of SEC.

OUR INTEREST GROUPS

  • Young leaders of Youth Voices for Change and Down to Zero.
  • Young people between the ages of 15 and 25 from our implementing countries.

WHAT WE DO

This process has three fundamental steps:

  • Step 1: Strengthen advocacy skills, starting with awareness-raising research - empathy and, lastly, translating your feelings and knowledge into clear, innovative and impactful messages.
  • Step 2: From the youth to the youth. Young people can take ownership of the message and share it in their formats and words to impact the lives of their peers. This is the opportunity to replicate the knowledge acquired with a horizontal vision.
  • Step 3: Young people are interconnected. They can reach millions of people from their homes, breaking physical and linguistic limitations. Once organized, they have the ability to invade, appropriate and question spaces and situations that, for a long time, have only been the conversation of adults.

COUNTRIES

The project is carried out in: Colombia, Dominican Republic, Thailand, Indonesia, India.
