UH OH. The enemies of the USA, both "foreign and domestic" are testing and probing our nation for weaknesses. We have been warned, in many ways, over and over. But we still use the internet and wireless communication for just about everything, and to control about everything. With this latest partial interruption of cellphone service, many Americans lost ALL wireless communications - and as a result - ALL internet access. https://lnkd.in/dJFtne4uGas, diesel, natural gas, transportation, energy, electricity, food, stores, light, heat, water, law enforcement, fire and emergency, computers, TV and phones ALL rely upon the internet and wireless communication. And those things don't work when these systems are down. Imagine how YOU would survive - and what you would do if this happened to YOU - for an extended period of time. **Panic is not the correct reaction.**NOTE: I'm not a 'prepper' but I was raised in a somewhat rural area - before wireless communication - where power outages occurred. It was bound to happen, especially during the most inclement weather. When (not if) it did, we were on our own. We always had a 'Plan B' or backup for just about everything. HERE'S MY POINT: the time to buy a boat and life jackets is...**before the flood.** And I'll just leave this right here, my friends.

🚨 Important Message 🚨We are aware of the widespread cell outages affecting AT&T, Verizon, and T-Mobile customers across the country, potentially impacting the ability to reach emergency services. Safety is our top priority, and we want to ensure there are alternative methods to connect with us and seek help during this disruption. If you need help for domestic violence, sexual assault, or stalking and are impacted by the cell outage, consider these options:🔵 Landline Phones: If available, use a traditional landline phone to call our Help Line. Landlines are not affected by cell service disruptions. Many public places, such as libraries and community centers, have landlines available. 🔵 Use Wi-Fi for Email Communication: Reach us at GinnyP411@gmail.com via Wi-Fi for discreet and confidential support.🔵 Activate Wi-Fi Calling: Turn on your phone settings to allow Wi-Fi calling. This feature enables you to contact emergency services using available Wi-Fi networks.🔵 Message Someone for Help: If you have access to Wi-Fi, message someone nearby to call 911 on your behalf, providing them with your location details.🔵 Visit a Neighbor for 911 Assistance: In case of immediate danger, head to a neighbor's house and ask to call 911 from their phone. Our 24/7 Help Line is available for all survivors and can be reached at 1-800-848-5991. We are here.https://lnkd.in/grUAWEra

What happens during a power outage? A dedicated cellular connection means that your security panel (with 24-hour battery backup) will still signal for help if there's an emergency at your home, and send you alerts and images as usual. https://zurl.co/1EFO #FAQ #HomeSecurity #PowerOutage

02.22.24 NATIONWIDE CELLULAR DISRUPTIONThere is currently a nationwide system disruption for AT&T cellular service. Some other carriers have been affected, too.It appears that AT&T cellular customers are unable to place calls, receive calls, use mobile data, or send/receive SMS text messages. This includes calls to 911 and non-emergency.If you need emergency services via 9-1-1, please use a landline. Some users may be able to utilize WiFi calling if connected to WiFi, but there are no guarantees.AT&T is aware of the issue, however they have no estimated time for restoration of service.
